Job Description

The Database Analyst Insights position requires an excellent collaborator, communicator, and analyst with solid hands-on-data and process management experience.  The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast moving and highly diverse environment and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness are not compromised.  The Data Analyst Insights enjoys and thrives on data mining and analysis, and is capable of deriving insight and providing future recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Montly Reporting/Custom Ad Hoc Reporting:  Assist in the design of monthly reporting based on business objectives, campaign design and testing methodology.  Using Excel, Access and in some cases SQL to retrieve and assemble data from multiple sources.  Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data and reporting.  Provide analysis of campaign reporting, including trends, anomalies, testing results and key insights.  Develop and present actionable recommendations based on these findings.
  • Quality Control and Continuous Process Improvement:  Develop and/or maintain processes and procedures that assure flawless reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns.  Maintain and improve on quality control standards.
  • Presentation of Results:  Be prepared to present findings at client meetings or over the phone

  Qualifications

  • BA or BS in a related field, MBA is a plus
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience
  • Experience with marketing, customer insight, and analytics. 
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of marketing database systems
  • High proficiency in all MS Office products, especially Excel and Access.  SAS & SQL is a plus. 
  • Experience in digital reporting also a plus, specifically Google Analytics, Omniture or Alterian experience is a bonus but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.  Ability to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and errors.  Reporting and analysis require data from multiple sources and require intense scrutiny of accuracy and reconcilability.
  • Must love people as well as data.  This position will interact and communicate with many different teams with varying understanding of data and analytics.  Must be a strong communicator of complex concepts and analysis, with a wide variety of audience knowledge.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.  Must be able to balance multiple analytical projects, partners, vendors and timelines.  Ability to reprioritize, seamlessly communicating the required changes and impacts to all affected parties.

Job Description

The Account Manager, Solutions Delivery is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of key account management including owning/building key client relationships, developing and implementing multichannel direct-to-consumer strategies aligned with client expectations, goals and objectives.  Developing and aligning personalized and dynamic customer contact strategies to drive key growth initiatives as defined by the client, managing the process in which an integrated team of account service professionals deliver specialized support across internal functioning departments.  The position is ultimately responsible for identifying and understanding solutions and strategies to drive the growth of the account and is responsible for the value/quality of service the client receives; therefore, the Account Manager must provide strategic marketing solutions that drive overall marketing initiatives for the client.

The position will work with internal partners including IT, business development, graphic design, database management/analytics, as well as third party partnerships that include industry specialists in technology, data management, analytics, and solution specialists to ensure that deliverables are of the highest quality and expectations of all stakeholders are being met.  Account Manager is required to communicate and coordinate final solution strategy, work together to develop implementation plan, and keep all team members informed of project status, while applying your industry and consultative expertise in analytics, direct marketing best practice and customer contact management.

Position Responsibilities

  • Experience in developing and executing multi-channel Direct Marketing/CRM strategy for Retail
  • Understanding and experience developing solutions across all channels of communication both traditional and digital
  • Experience in client account management/leadership and internal client growth
  • Lead quarterly client business reviews
  • Manage the execution of multiple projects at one time
  • Responsible for planning and executing special ad hoc projects – both internal and external
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to grow existing account to then working with Business Development to formalize each opportunity
  • Fiscal responsibilities include management of client budget allocation across solutions, internal account revenue forecasing, internal estimating, and billing for all projects

The Data Analyst will work with the team to analyze client sales and customer information and provide written and graphical reporting that provides the insight needed to improve our clients’ business and improve their ROI on marketing.  Assignments include regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting projects using cyustomer databases and sales/product tracking data.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-4 years experience in data analysis and reporting

Background

Baesman Group is a direct and database marketing services provider, with specific retail expertise.  We provide end-to-end solutions by integrating marketing strategy, creative, and data services with printing, direct mail, email and fulfillment.  By managing the process and executing delivery, we can ensure complete quality control across the entire program.

The role of the Sales Consultant is to sell our turnkey, in-store graphics solution and/or to sell our direct mail and additional marketing strategies to national retail accounts.  Our solution includes print production, mailing, kit packing, campaign logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, Baesman’s proprietary store attribute software, SAM, (patent pending) and the on-line replenishment software and warehousing.  Working out of our corporate office in Hilliard, Ohio, the Sales Consultant will report directly to Tyler Baesman, president.  Occasional travel is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with sales team to identify prospects
  • Meet with prospective clients to assess needs
  • Work with production to develop custom solutions
  • Present custom and turnkey solutions to client
  • Coordinate solutions development and project handoff with production
  • Organize account information
  • Meet sales goals as mutually defined with Baesman president

Requirements

  • Three years relevant work experience in marketing or merchandising
  • Knowledge of print production and fulfillment process
  • Strong customer facing skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and motivate clients and employees
  • High energy, self motivated, and competitive

Job Description – Director, Business & Solutions Development (Columbus, Ohio)

In this role, you will be responsible for New Business and Solution Development while developing a keen understanding of our client relationship practices and sales process as it relates to ongoing sales efforts.  You will be expected to have an understanding of “concept to strategies” for solution selling, qualification of prospects, sound presentation skills and experience in selling to senior management.

You will be expected to work both independently and on teams to develop strategies that result in the delivery of customer contact solutions across a variety of channels assuring that engagement work products, process and deliverables are of the highest quality to ensure client satisfaction.  Apply your consultative expertise in analytics, operations management, marketing, and technical knowledge to make Baesman a market leading delivery organization.
