We are proud to announce the appointment of Mike Foy, manager of data and digital services at Baesman, to the Central Ohio Postal Customer Council. Foy will serve a two-year term.

The council is made up of central Ohio mailing industry professionals, including direct mail service providers, such as Baesman, and companies that rely heavily on the U.S. Postal Service for member communications and marketing programs. Employees of the U.S. Postal Service are recognized as associate members.

The council provides educational opportunities for members and provides recommendations to the U.S. Postal Service to improve customer service, communication, and cooperation between customers and the U.S. Postal Service. Friday, February 12th, 2010

Hilliard, OH—Santa came early this year for two central Ohio families, thanks to Baesman Group, Inc.’s second annual “Big Give” holiday sponsorship of families in need.

On December 18th, 2009, The Baesman Group surprised the Curtis Family of Hilliard and the Cremeans Family of Ashley with two truckloads of Christmas wishes and family needs. Emotions ran high as the Baesman Elves unloaded over 300 packages including toys, bikes, clothing, bedding, food, and gift cards into the homes of the two unsuspecting and deserving families.

“The ‘Big Give’ has become one of the most emotional, moving, and humbling experience of my life,” says Rod Baesman, CEO of Baesman Group, Inc. “This year we helped to make a difference in two families lives by letting them know people care about them and their children.  The outpouring of love and support I witnessed is, by far, the proudest moment of my professional career.”

Baesman Group, Inc. announces the acquisition of one of the industry’s fastest multi-color sheetfed presses. The multi-million dollar press significantly increases Baesman’s production capacity to address growing client demand for faster delivery times.

“The new press is a major milestone for Baesman,” said Rod Baesman, CEO of Baesman Group. “At 18,000 sheets per hour, our new press prints 80% faster than our other presses from the same manufacturer.”

The new press is a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105, and is the only one of its kind currently in operation in central Ohio. The press features the highest levels of automation and prints up to 6-colors plus aqueous coating on sheet sizes up to 41” x 28”. Enhanced technology allows the press to print extremely accurate color consistently from sheet to sheet and project to project.

“Our ability to make an investment of this magnitude speaks volumes about Baesman Group’s strong financial position, not only in this economy but also relative to our competitors, many of whom have struggled or failed to survive in the last decade,” said Baesman.
